Hello Adventurer! In Otherworlds, you'll explore countless planets, on with those planets come a variety of unique races that inhabit the many universes. Below you can find some of the basic details of a few of our races. Stay tuned for more updates.
Physical Description: Raktii are perhaps the most human-like species in Otherworlds. Raktii have slightly pointy ears and are able to have naturally exotic hair and eye colors.
Society: Raktii believe that you earn your place in the world. At a young age it’s by most Raktii tradition to be cast out and only return, once you’ve brought back a dead worthy enemy. This leads to only strong willed Raktii surviving, this also allows for their communities to have an abundance of resources, given many Raktii failing to return.
Relations: Like the humans, the Raktii value friendship but even more so than humans, they value loyalty. It’s not about liking who you’re with, more so co-existing with them to reach the common goal.
Alignment and Religion: Raktii tend to go through extreme lengths in illogical manor to achieve their end goal, but are relatively good-hearted individuals. This makes most Raktii fall within the Chaotic Good alignment.
Adventurers: Since a young age, Raktii most explore and survive to sustain their life in society. They love adapting to new unexplored environments and crafting their gear to match their own personal needs for any job. There is perhaps no species that enjoys exploring more than a Raktii.

Physical Description: Bessk are a slender humanoid species with course skin and despite their naturally small frame, their skin is naturally very tough. Bessk typically do not grow a lot of hair aside from the females who tend to grow some hair on their head.
Society: Besskin usually aren’t very social creatures. They often prefer being alone and doing things alone. This makes many of them to be Bounty Hunters. They do however tend to observe a lot, being very analytical creatures.
Relations: Bessk don’t like having many relations with others and sees having too many close bonds is only a guarantee of getting yourself stabbed in the back. Bessk don’t trust others and as such, they aren’t well trusted by most others.
Alignment and Religion: Bessk tend to keep to themselves and their own motives. Most others don’t know a Bessk’s true intentions, since they are quite secretive. But their actions typically align with that of a Chaotic Neutral alignment. Bessk don’t wish for death or in particularly enjoy the thought of it. They just openly accept it and as such, commonly believe that one is not free of the burdens of the world until they are dead and then from there on, they can experience something beyond the universe.
Adventurers: Bessk rarely ever feel like they belong or fit in anywhere, so they often seek other places in hopes to one day finding a place to call home.

Society: Dandrik tend to live in small towns and have an appointed Sheriff to run that town.
Relations: Dandrik are friendly to most and just like having a good time while drinking. However, one that ever crosses a Danrik, his friends, or his family is eager to be a dead man.

The Felinx are a peculiar species that enjoy the little things in life. They often do not care for much luxurious possessions but do enjoy little trinkets and sentimental items. They often find themselves feeling the most comfortable in a small home with a family and friends. Felinx are greatest known for their wit and their ability to run circles around most others both mentally and physically. They tend adore shiny items and trinkets and love the thrill of stealing without being noticed, given their exceptional reflexes and wit. Although, most Felinx are too warm hearted and will only take from others if they are perceived as “bad.”
Physical Description: Felinx often stand at about 5’2 and have a fox-like appearance. They have beady eyes that allow them to see exceptionally well in the dark, as well as having a tail they may use to hold light items such as a dagger or to swing them from tree to tree.
Society: Felinx prefer the comfort of others and as such, love being in close-knit homes with family and friends.
Relations: Felinx have a trusting nature and never judge a book by its cover entirely, but they still will never fully give their trust to someone until it’s deserved. The Felinx share the world of Foragna with Leogre and although, are often seen as runts by them, enjoy their company, leadership and bravery.
Alignment and Religion: Although some Felinx use their wits for deceitful purposes, most Felinx find friendships and bonding to be more important, thus making most Felinx Neutral Good.
Adventurers: Since Felinx enjoy the company of their friends and family so much, they tend to get homesick easily and are often not eager to travel far from home without a proper cause. The Leogre are of the most proudest and courageous of all of the species. They stand tall next to their allies and are renowned for being great charismatic leaders.
Physical Description: The Leogre stand at around 6”7” on average. Their built very muscular and most males are seen with a mane of sorts, even sometimes braided for decoration. The Leogre have tiger-like strips that differentiate from different ones. They have paws, claws and sharp teeth.
Society: Leogre love to lead and as such, typically don’t follow orders well unless they have full trust in their leader, in which case the Leogre will be most loyal to them and die for their cause.
Relations: The Leogre have taken it upon themselves to protect the Felinx whenever they can. Them knowing that they are bigger and more battle-oriented feel the need to take it upon themselves to protect the nice Felinx. Leogre among themselves are generally nice to one another, but because of their competitive nature; often challenge each other to friendly bouts such as arm wrestling.
Alignment and Religion: The Leogre are generally good hearted and have a high sense of pride in themselves and the cause that they stand for. Leogre typically fall within the Lawful Good alignment.
Adventurers: Almost any Leogre is up for a challenge and an adventure. Leogre would see an adventure as a form of a competition.
Values: Bravery, Loyalty, Community
Despises: Cowardice, Deceitfulness, Seclusion

Physical Description: Vanticar are a dragon-like humanoid race with sharp teeth, claws and a tail. Vanticar are covered with scales and have brown, orange or red eyes.
Society: In most Vanticaran society, there is a king that rules with an iron fist over the land. Most Vanticar typically do not like to subjugate themselves to rule and often disband in favor are fending for themselves. Vanticar in society tend to be Iron Smiths, Forgers or Enforcers. In Vanticaran society, it is important to fight many enemies In battle and to always win and to prove a high social status. A Vanticar that loses battles will often be killed publically and kings are often challenged for power.
Relations: Most species do not trust the Vanticar for their brutish ways and lack of care for others. Vanticar typically do not care what others think of them, as they believe their dragon heritage makes them superior in all aspects. Vanticar are typically not the most intelligent, but make up for this with their battle hardened experience, they are among the fiercest in combat.

Varothan are a long-lived species that enjoy the finer things for life and feel at home in a dark atmosphere. They are very prideful and at sometimes sadistic, they love being highly regarded by others.
Physical Description: Generally the size of an average human; the Varothan have sharp fangs that enable them to extract blood and slightly pointed ears. Varothan take pride in themselves and their appearances, they often look as healthy as possible, regardless of having very pale white skin. They often compliment their pale bodies, with black makeup. Naturally Varothan always have black hair, pale skin and red eyes. In rare occasions they may have purple eyes. Varothan also typically have nice hair that they also pride themselves with by having it grown and worn in different fashions.
Society: Varothan live typically in a very aristocratic manner. They love to have high status and revered as something amazing.
Relations: Varothan typically look down on other species, finding them as nothing more important than blood waiting to be taken or waste that isn’t worth their time. Varothan typically are cruel to their own species as well unless their social status is of the same merit.
Alignment and Religion: Varothan may be harsh to who they deem as lower or insignificant, but they have a strong since of “blood relation” to one another and will ultimately help their own kind and perhaps in a few instances, an acquaintance of another species. Varothan tend to align with Lawful Evil. Although some Varothan become “blood crazed” and become addicted to killing for blood, regardless of the rules and regulations, these Varothan are Chaotic Evil.
